The event is mainly in need of volunteers with shallow draft boats, but there are limited spots for canoes and kayaks. Also accepted are registrations from snorkelers without boats, but participation depends on a boater having room aboard their vessel.

New this year: Two meeting locations include Fort De Soto Park boat ramp, 3500 Pinellas Bayway South, Tierra Verde, FL 33715 and Grandview Park, 6th St. S. & 39th Ave. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33705
