There are still spaces left in the Tampa Bay Estuary Program's Bay Mini-Grant Webinars on Wednesday, August 13 at 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday, August 26 at 6:00 p.m.!

If you have never applied for one of TBEP's community grants before—or have not received a grant recently—it is highly recommended that you participate in one of these short webinars to walk you through the application process. Webinars will cover the purpose of the grant program, what is and isn't eligible for funding, and details of applying and submitting for a grant.

Email Misty Cladas to sign up and indicate the date of the webinar you are interested in, and you will be sent information on how to log in to the webinar.

The Tampa Bay Estuary Program's popular Bay Mini-Grant program provides funds of $500 to $5,000 to community groups, schools, non-profit organizations and others for projects that help to improve Tampa Bay. Restoration, education and pollution prevention projects may be funded.

The grant program is funded by sales of the Tampa Bay Estuary specialty license plate, featuring a "Silver King" tarpon.

Deadline to apply is October 1.
