Public hearing Wednesday on Beckett Bridge

A public hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., at the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club. A formal presentation will be made at 6 p.m., followed by a public comment period.

The Pinellas County Department of Environment and Infrastructure is hosting the meeting, in coordination with the Florida Department of Transportation, to detail the results and replacement alternatives for Beckett Bridge.

The recommended alternative consists of replacing the existing bridge with a new, two-lane movable bridge. Information about all alternatives considered will be available for review and members of the project team will be available to answer questions.
