Volunteers Still Needed to "Give A Day For The Bay"

The Tampa Bay Estuary Program is still looking for about 10 more volunteers to help us pulverize invasive Brazilian pepper trees on Saturday, October 16 at Al Palonis Park in Tampa.

If you have already signed up, thank you! If you are putting it off, don't wait much longer. We will close registration about a week before the workday.

You must be at least 13 to participate. Wear closed-toe shoes (NO sandals/flip-flops!), bring hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray, and a water bottle. Those allergic to Brazilian pepper should wear long-sleeved shirt/pants.

NOTE ABOUT AL PALONIS PARK:
This small park is located on the northeast side (Tampa side) of the Gandy Bridge, just after the Marine Corps Reserve complex. Look for our "Give A Day For The bay" directional signs.

Ready to join us? Please sign up below through our new, convenient (we hope!) online registration system below.
